2. Attention Juniors & Seniors
College representatives from Muskingum University and the University of Rio Grande will be visiting Tri-Valley. Rio Grande next Thursday, Sept. 15, during 2nd period, and Muskingum will be here Wednesday during 4th period. Stop by Student Services to sign up to meet with these representatives. You must sign up ahead of time and have permission from your teacher to attend.

3. Homecoming
Student council will begin selling tickets during the lunch periods on THURSDAY of this week. Cost of each ticket is 8$.
If you are bringing a guest from another school, you MUST have a guest form turned in before you can buy tickets. Guest forms are available on Mrs. Brennen & Mrs. Roberts websites, outside of their rooms, and in the office.

4. Boys soccer
The boys soccer team will be playing at crew stadium on Sept. 24 at 11 A.M. We will take a student fan bus if there is enough interest. Sign up in the office by this friday.

5. Auditions
Auditions for “A Seussified Christmas Carol” is next week, TODAY through Thursday from 2:30-3:30 or 4:00-6:00. Come anytime on any day. All are encouraged to join!

6. Reminder
All parents need to log in to Registration Gateway and fill out student information by September 18th. Please remind your parents to do this. There is a link on the school website.

7. Nightmare in Nashport
Nightmare in Nashport needs volunteers to help run the trail on every weekend in October. Come find out more info and sign up in Ms. Verhoff’s room (N-4).

8. Yearbooks
The yearbooks will be distributed starting Tuesday, September 13. Mrs. O’flaherty will be distributing them throughout the school day. If you are picking up another student’s yearbook, you must have a signed note from that student.
Also, starting today and running for one week only, we will be selling the at a discounted price. During next week only we will be selling the yearbook for $50. Every yearbook purchased at this price will be personalized for free. After next week the price for a book will go to $55, and the personalization will be an extra charge. Please see Mr. Blair for an order form.

9. Candle Sale
The choir Yankee Candle Sale has begun. See a choir member if you would like to get a head start on your holiday shopping and purchase some candles. 40% of the profits directly benefit the choir program. Thank you for your support.

10. A Cappella club
It is time for A cappella club. There will be an informational meeting on Wednesday, the 14th in the cafeteria at 3:00. Snacks will be provided. Come and find out more information about A cappella club.

11. Community youth foundation
The community youth foundation is now accepting new members. Any freshman or sophomores is welcome to apply. The deadline is friday, September 23rd. Talk to Emma Palko or go to mccf.org for more information.
