Eligible Applicants Agricultural Producer Rural Small Business
Individual or entity that receives 51 percent or more of their gross income from agricultural production – crops, livestock, aquaculture, forestry operations, nurseries, dairies For-profit small business - as defined by the Small Business Administration (SBA) Rural area or non-metro community of < 50,000 Eligible Applicants 1. Ag Producers – Any Location, 51 % of gross income from farm products, 2. Rural Small Businesses – defined by SBA by NAICS code, must be rural. Rural in Nevada is generally anything outside of Reno/Sparks, Carson City, Las Vegas/North Las Vegas/Henderson.

REAP Grant Assistance Up to 25% of Eligible Project Costs Renewable Energy Systems Energy Efficiency Improvements Minimum Grant Request $2,500 Total eligible project costs > $10,000 $1,500 Total eligible project costs > $6,000 Maximum Grant Request $500,000 Total eligible project costs > $2 million $250,000 Total eligible project costs > $1 million REAP Grant - Up to 25%, RES and EEI minimum and maximum grants

REAP Guaranteed Loan Assistance
Up to 75% of Eligible Project Costs Minimum Loan Amount $5,000 Total eligible project costs > $6,667 Maximum Loan Amount $25 million Total eligible project costs > $33.4 million Details USDA guarantees a commercial loan; applicant must have a willing lender. Terms are negotiated between the lender and borrower. Fees, appraisals, equity & collateral requirements apply. REAP GL – Up to 75%, 50% with 25% grant, minimum and maximum, explain what a guaranteed loan is. Conditional Commitment issued prior to construction. Loan Note Guarantee issued following steady state operation.

REAP Application Window Closing Deadlines
Oct. 31, 2016 Restricted Grant Requests of $20,000 or less only Jan. 31, 2017 EA/REDA Grant Requests March 31, 2017 Unrestricted Grant Requests of any size, and Restricted Grant Requests of $20,000 and less Continuous Application Cycle Guaranteed Loans *Loan must score a minimum of 50 to compete monthly 2 competitions for smaller grants each year, 1 competition for unrestricted grants each year. Guaranteed Loans funded on a continuous basis.
