2 In English, Adjectives usually come before the noun.
Ex: Sam is a kind man. Does the spelling of the adjective in English change according to the noun it is describing?

3 In French, Most adjectives are placed after the noun they modify. There are a few exceptions that you will need to memorize. The exceptions are called “BANGS” adjectives.

4 Formation: Feminine forms
Regular adjectives Irregular adjectives If an adj. ends in an “e” = no change. If an adj. is masculine, to make feminine, add an “e”. Feminine form of “-eux” = “-euse” Feminine form of “-if” = “-ive” Feminine form of “-g” = “-gue” Feminine form of “-c” = “-che” Feminine form of “-n” = “-nne” Feminine form of “-s” = “-sse” Feminine form of “-l” = “-lle”

5 Formation: Plural forms
Adj. ends in an “s” : Adj. does NOT end in “s” Don’t add anything Add “s” if masculine and plural noun Ex: Ils sont intelligents. Add “es” if feminine and plural noun Ex: Ellles sont marrantes.
