On October 9th 2007 at 9:00 AM Omaha Fire personnel responded
to a self venting fire.

2. Fire Ground WIND WIND WIND Upon arrival personnel noted:
From the kitchen the fire attack crew ascended
through the stairway to the upper part of the
house
Not originally intended for continual
Habitation the upper part of the house had been
Converted into three separate rooms
Upon arrival personnel noted:
Fire self vented through window in attic
Wind from the south
No smoke was apparent on the 1st floor
Crew proceeded through the house to
Kitchen at the back of the house.

As the crew advanced, fire rollover was noticed
On the ceiling of the middle room
Simultaneously, as a rear window was vented
Water was directed to the ceiling
From the upper floor the attack crew noticed
Smoke to the floor
