2 The Psalmist (A man after God’s own heart)
Aren’t the PSALMS just a bunch of HAPPY CLAPPY chapters (incorporating songs played on harps, lyres & stuff ? – Mumford & Sons of the OT?) The book of Psalms is a collection of poems, songs & writings. Over 75% of which are attributed to King David David’s heart is laid bare, his life & character are opened up for examination. Encouragingly for us, this man of success & failure, great faith & great sin, coupled with ecstatic joy & deep depression, is described as “A man after God’s own heart” PSALMS is not just for the HAPPY CLAPPY but for real 2017 People !

3 The Psalmist (A man after God’s own heart)
ACTS 13 : 22-23 He raised up for them David as King, to whom also He gave testimony & said “ I have found David the Son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who will do ALL my will” From this man’s see, according to the promise, God raised up for Israel a saviour Jesus.
