This psalm encourages us to repose ourselves and our confidence in God and by faith put ourselves to His care.

INTRODUCTION:
A blessing to someone travelling on a dangerous journey. We are travelers, the world is dangerous, we are exposed to danger more than we are aware off.

4. A. LIFT YOUR EYES BEYOND THE HILLS (JUJU, DIABOLICAL MEANS)
We must not rely upon men and means,instruments, and second causes nor make flesh our arm, our confidence is in God only.
He does not travel.
He does not sleep nor slumber.

He is always awake, a watchful keeper
He is not weary

6. B. WE MUST SEE ALL OUR HELP LAID UP IN GOD
How?
Wait for him.
If he does not help no one will.
If he does no one can stop him.
Have faith in His promises.
Depend upon prayer and God’s word.

7. C. WE MUST DEPEND UPON HIS REFRESHMENT
God is our shade.
The right hand is the working hand.
Keep the feet’s of the saints, never suffer their feet’s to be moved.

God will keep them from falling.
Sun and moon are great blessing to mankind, but has become instrument of hurt to those worshipping them.

9. PRAYER Eph. 2: 10 Jer. 29: 11 Pro. 9: 11 I will fulfill purpose.
I would fulfill destiny.

Fulfill your plans and purpose in my life.
Lord prosper me do not let me be ashamed.

Release unto me your wisdom.
Good years will be added unto my life.

Make known unto me the path of life.
Fill my life with joy.

Give my desires.
Make my plans secure.

Lord keep me safe in the day of trouble. Vs. 5.
Hide me in shelter, set me high upon a rock, and raise my head above my enemies.

Command your angels to guide me in all my ways.

Satisfy me with long life.
Show me your salvation.

Cause us to rejoice again and again.
