C’est un verbe auquel on a ajouté ING (le gérondif). Il est traduit en français par un nom.

Reading : la lecture Roller skating : le roller.
Painting : la peinture. Skate-boarding : le skate board
Drawing : le dessin. Swimming : la natation
Doing it yourself : le bricolage Repairing : bricoler
