Are you crazy about any hobbies ? Are you nuts about any activities ?

HOBBIES. Quand on veut parler d’activités en anglais on utilise un nom ou le nom verbal. Rappel : C’est un verbe auquel on a ajouté ING (le gérondif). Il est traduit en français par un nom. Singing : le chant Fencing : l’escrime Skiing : le ski Paragliding : Le parapente Reading : la lecture Roller skating : le roller. Painting : la peinture. Skate-boarding : le skate board Drawing : le dessin. Swimming : la natation Doing it yourself : le bricolage Repairing : bricoler Fishing : la pêche. Hunting : la chasse Arching : le tir à l’arc Wrestling : le catch.

I’m fond of horse-riding. 2) How long do you spend on practising the piano ? / horse-riding ? I spend most of my free-time playing and practising the piano. I spend very little time playing. (one hour a week). I spend a long time playing and practising. (five hours a day). I spend a few hours after school / after doing my homework. (two hours a day).
