So… Why Visit South Korea?
The public relations industry has been developed dramatically over the past thirty years in South Korea. In Korea, public relations contributed to the development of a partnership between the government and business sectors. As a result, the war-ravaged country in the 1950s has now been replaced by an industrial powerhouse ranked the 15th among global economies. South Korea is regarded as the only country that once received foreign aid and becomes a country that gives economic aid to other countries. Seoul becomes one of the world’s top ten financial centers and is home to some of the largest technology corporations such as Samsung and LG. The popularity of South Korean pop culture (Hallyu, the Korean Wave) has been a unique cultural trend in the global society since the 1990s. Based upon the economic and cultural thrive, South Korea society now seeks a quality of lives, sustainable development, and social responsibility.
