Legislative Updates HB 1106 –require purchasing entities to allow contractors to submit bids electronically; require reverse auctions (1)(c)(i)(2) Reverse auctions shall be the primary method for receiving bids during the bidding process (1)(c)(v) Agencies and governing authorities shall provide a secure electronic interactive system for the submittal of bids requiring competitive bidding that shall be an additional bidding option for those bidders who choose to submit their bids electronically Effective January 1, 2018 METIS Conference June 2017 ©MDE – Office of School Financial Services
