Aims To participate in a drama and creative writing workshop and reflect on writing from personal experience To begin to explore different approaches to teaching writing To plan to address the needs of specific pupils when teaching creative and non-fiction writing

Workshop Task Develop the ideas suggested in this session to plan a lesson where you encourage the pupils to use personal experience as a stimulus for creative writing. Choose a particular group of pupils to focus on: Higher Ability pupils Pupils with SEN or EAL

School based task-Creative Writing or writing in response to Drama
Either: Write your own story, poem or play, produce your own media artefact or b) Plan your drama regeneration lesson Plan and teach the lesson Evaluate the lesson in your folder using one of the QTS standards that is relevant to this experience

Can you imagine the people who might live and work in this area? How might this area be regenerated? Post letter: What might be done to make the council reconsider?
