Welcome to WSF 2017 Focus, the opening session of this new year.
Inspired by the outcome of 2016, WSF 2017 Focus launches an other way of working together.
The main gains from where: 1. In product development:
Building the Country Program Toolkit & Brochures from over 20 countries and from 20 countries more under development, and contact with 5 governments;
Overall analysis of INDCs of over 160 Countries;
Market value analysis of the CDM sectors;
Monitoring SDGs;
2. In organization development:
Board from 2 to 4 members;
Deepening the organization structure in Department Units;
Professionalizing the HR department;
Learned that part-time volunteers are easy to find but hard to manage;
3. In challenges experiences:
100&Change; Soestdijk Palace; Innovation The Hague;
4. In financials:
March 21st 2016 an investor signed to sponsor us with 750 M$ & invest 15B$. We are working on the fulfillment of the conditions;
We approaching a hand full of Dutch banks for a 40M$ loan to start service in 14 Countries and fund our Head Quarter needs in The Hague;

January - Start of one year ECOintention balancing, reached alignment in October
February – Start of Country Brochure development, 20 ready, 20 under development
March – Signing 750M USD sponsorship & 15B USD investment, supporting bank issues to solve
Start of 5 months VPRO Backlight Meet Ups, very attractive but not the Autumn program
April – Start of WSF to the Market & KPI meetings, process block by lack supporting hands
June - Bhutan and Nigeria Country Brochures introduced at Embassies, focus on finance
July – China and UAE Brochures ready, Country manager both out of process
Sept – Board expansion meetings, New Office calculation & search, HR KPIs, Guniz & Harold joined
October – Start department unit of Country Toolkit & Brochure development, 40 Countries at hand
November – 100&Change Challenge, 14 pages 14 Countries 40M USD Investment plan to Banks
December – Collapse of HR department, Global Compact NL & Erasmus University meetings

Targets become Service Levels. In our business model the order of targets from left to right is inversed. Also we will work with trinities in stead of two core points. Where “Targets” shows that we where after something, “Services” shows that we think from out of the customer. The combination of Service Levels links use to the Value Chains. Was the U.N. the primary source of our values, now we work as well in two directions and strive to accomplish also a better federation on Mondiale level.

The Green Ambassador. Till now in our Country Program the Governance segment was not integrated but seen as a first to contact external Country Quality. In this new five segment (Human, “Ren” in Chinese) model, we find project at the foundation, Solutions (CDMs & SDGs) as intermediates, and Governance supported by management on top. This model can be used in all service levels. Country Manager will become WSF Green Ambassadors and get a proper education. It will line up WSF as an intergovernmental organization.
