2. What is KITS?
KITS is an online stock trading system for PCs and smart phones.
KITS allows TREC holders/Brokers to automate a variety of brokerage business processes, such as order collection, validation, routing, management and execution handling.
TREC Holders/Brokers of the Exchange can subscribe for KITS and offer online trading system and mobile App to the investors.

18. KSE- Broker Agreement
For protection of the interest of the Exchange and the TREC Holders/ Brokers, the TREC Holders/Brokers shall enter into an agreement with the Exchange.
The Exchange provides the facilities for trading in securities via KITS to its TREC Holders / Brokers in accordance with the applicable law and rules & regulations framed by the Exchange.

19. Salient Features of the Agreement
Broker/TREC holder to install and maintain KITS upon fulfillment of the following criteria:
It shall have minimum net worth of Rs. 25 million as per the latest audited financial statements;
It shall have adequate infrastructure including:
Functional website,
Internal control procedures and
Technological and human resources
It shall have well-defined procedures that cover the following:
Assigning of trading limits;
Placement and execution of investors’ orders;
Margin requirement (Initial, maintenance and other applicable margins) and margin calls

20. Salient Features of the Agreement
Exchange shall serve as the facilitator of KITS only.
Therefore, Exchange shall not be liable to the Brokers/TREC Holders or their clients for any losses arising from hardware or software failures, government restrictions, force majeure etc.
The TREC Holders/Brokers shall keep the Exchange indemnified against all the losses, claims, costs, legal proceeding that may be made or initiated by its clients or anyone else.
