Legal Productivity Apps
TrialPad iJuror iTimeKeep TranscriptPad Case Manager Developers have seen a market in lawyers and some great apps specifically tailored towards attorneys have been created. At this point many of the apps listed below are only available on Apple devices. However, this most likely will change in the future as more developers begin to create apps for Android products.
24
Legal Productivity Apps
TrialPad Organizing and presenting documents in the courtroom $129.99 As you might remember – this was on the list of top apps at the beginning – it is a great easy to use app for trial attorneys This app was specifically designed for attorneys to use their iPad in the courtroom. TrialPad allows attorneys to organize, manage, annotate, and store their documents and videos in their iPad. Attorneys can then display the documents in “presentation view” which will show the content on the entire screen and transition between the documents like a PowerPoint presentation. A more inexpensive alternative to TrialPad is Exhibit A. Most of the reviews of this app suggest that it has most of the features of TrialPad at a reduced cost. However, most reviews also state that it is not as intuitively designed as TrialPad.
25
Jury Selection Apps iJuror Most popular jury selection app
Two jury selection apps – first Ijurur lets you configure the jurors to the courtroom This app lets the attorney add juror information based upon where a juror is sitting, add notes as the trial proceeds, and has drag and drop features to select and drop jurors. It allows the attorney to customize this app based upon the number of jurors and their configuration in the courtroom.
