The unique colours of Harris Tweed are inspired and informed by the landscape of The Hebrides. Traditionally the dyeing process used the lichen, seaweed and summer flora and it is this colour spectrum rather than pantone that continues to direct Harris Tweed today.

8 A UNIQUE LANDSCAPE

9 A UNIQUE PRODUCT

11 The patience and talents of men and women and manually powered looms.
PRODUCING THE PERFECT PRODUCT Dyeing the wool rather than the yarn sets the tone for a complex process. The quest for the perfect product is aided by artisan skills passed through generations. The patience and talents of men and women and manually powered looms. The quality control ensured by the hand and the eye rather than the bleep of a computer.

15 CRAFT AS THE DNA OF LUXURY
There is a near symbiotic relationship between the weavers and the landscape. People are inspired by the unique colour, intricate design and soulful creation of the fabric. From wool to yarn to tweed there is a continual addition of unique skill and craft; a complex process and a unique provenance. We believe the time is right to reclaim and redefine the term luxury through this craft.

16 CRAFT A GENUINE STORY

18 NOT JUST FOR MISS MARPLE

19 PERFECT: then make better
Nothing happens by accident. Kaizen (continuous improvement) is the foundation for our constant appeal. A heritage and future driven and maintained by the essence of craft and design. The Orb stamp only given to cloth that holds a perfect finish. A product with an intrinsic and enduring value.

20 ZEGNA & SUSTAINABLE HERITAGE

21 1 X 1 = 3

23 POWER OF PROVENANCE

24 SCALED UP AND SCALED OUT
Harris Tweed Hebrides hopes that we have proven that entrepreneurship is not just about creating the new or something out of nothing. The entrepreneur can also take the old and make it better. I believe there are a few more dormant Harris Tweeds in Scotland; let’s work together and find them.
