NOVA Entertainment is on the hunt for an enthusiastic and experienced Financial Accountant to join the team. The Financial Accountant is responsible for the day to day financial functions for NOVA Entertainment. The incumbent is seen as a leader in the finance team and as such provides guidance and leadership support to the Finance staff. The role is a backup for the Financial Controller.
You’ll need to have excellent communication skills, fantastic attention to detail and a positive work ethic together with:
Appropriate Degree qualification and post degree accounting qualification such as CPA/CA
Significant demonstrable financial management experience, preparing profit and loss, balance sheets, reconciliations, ledger maintenance, cash flow reporting, BAS, FBT and financial administration
Financial report writing skills
Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of financial computer systems
Strong Interpersonal skills
Ability to work to tight deadlines and work under pressure
Ability and experience in working with a diverse range of people
Confident working with and able to deal with confidential information on a daily basis
Payroll knowledge would be an advantage but not essential
Fixed Asset register and depreciation management
experience
Management/supervisory experience would be an
advantage
