11 A Model for Identifying Core Occupations
Please refrain from mapping jobs with "Quality" in the job title to Agricultural / Horticultural Produce Inspectors, who under the auspices of the Department of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (DAFF), conduct inspections of agricultural commodities, processing equipment and facilities, monitors conformance to standards and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and laws governing health, quality and safety. The model overlays the 8 Major Groups of the OFO with the concentric circles indicating the most critical occupations to the most unlikely occupations to be found as various colours.

12 OFO Mapping Considerations
2015- prefix is assumed, takes too much space Always evaluate using Major Group as point of departure Consider qualification level to confirm Major Group Selection Job Title not definitive, rather Job Output, careful for key word hits, read descriptor and tasks to confirm the alignment to actual output Update Job Titles to prevent Auto populate to map indiscriminately (update House list with redefined Job Titles using optional fields) Refer to the OFO Guide – download from website Mapp learners to occupation studying for, try avoiding use No Mapping: not more than 5% of total mapping

13 Non Specific Job Titles
Map post to the specific area of specialisation - need to confirm post output, ie: Artisan in what Supervisor of whom Scientist in which discipline Trainer for which job family Other examples: Manager; Engineer; Technologist; Technician; Artisan; General Assistant; Factory Worker; General Worker; Assistant Update the Job Title and ask HR to update the House data after the WSP- ATR submission cycle
