13. What is an “action alert?”
You likely already receive some type of an action alert from causes that you may personally support.
A way for you to quickly engage with elected officials (federal, state) on issues important to you.
These alerts are timely and sent as opportunities to engage arise.

15. Who should sign-up to receive them?
Any of your colleagues who might be interested in serving as an advocate for teacher preparation.
This includes any of your fellow faculty members.
Your K12 partners (principals, union-affiliates, etc.)
Your teacher candidates – they are a powerful voice in speaking on behalf of the profession – and your program!
Anyone else you can identify as an ally and someone who would be interested in taking action.
