Opportunities
To drive localization and adaptation of products acording to users interest
To expand the membership base with new installations & products (Consortiated Primo, Alma)
Threats
Membership base reduced because clients leaving EL products (strong competition)
Reduced funding makes difficult to evolve into new products

Number of formal members is declining but people is participating (specially in annual meetings) we hope it can increase in the near future

13. Library Software Scenario in Spain
Funding reduced last years (20%)  Difficult to introduce new products if price increases
Very strong competition among providers, specially for discovery tools (good for prices)
Discovery tools widespread (not many Primos)
Some big consortia & libraries studying to go to new generation ILS but many prefer to wait until more mature products enter the market and competition is stronger
