Discussion How to establish a ground DB, i.e. ingesting internet resources. Difficulties in the integration of citizen science data and efforts. In particular the question how useful the work in the “Lebendiger Atlas - Natur Deutschland” really is in this context. Incentives for engagement. Co-allocation with existing efforts – e.g. some long-term monitoring platform like the Hainich (ICOS towers, Biodiv. Exploratories, etc.), link with ecosystem scale processes. Learn from the experience here: Value of long-term time- series for monitoring… Funding schemes for hardware. Small positioning paper as outcome - lead by Wolfgang (time-line to be set)
