Quiz-Quiz-Trade Find a partner. Quiz them with your question on your notecard. If they can’t get it right, coach them (coaching is not telling them the answer!) Then your partner quizzes you. Once you have each successfully answered your question, trade your notecards. Then raise your hand. High-five someone with a raised hand. BAM! You’re now partners. The purpose of QQT is to have students practice vocabulary (so they can use it intelligently in the next review activity) and low-level Bloom’s knowledge/skills (the next activity will get at higher-level knowledge/skills)

Team with the MOST COMPLETE correct answer shoots. You must be able to DEFEND your answer to shoot for it. Scoring Dunk = 1 point Free throw = 2 points Three-pointer = 3 points Mark a free-throw line on the floor with tape. I will “randomly” choose one of the team-members to defend the answer. So, in heterogeneous pairs, the lower student has a vested interest in being taught by the higher student. If the student fails to defend the answer, I will choose (randomly, with flash-cards) another student to defend the answer and shoot for half points.
