2. THE NIGHT HOWLER BACK STORY
There was a species of alien mosquitoes looking for a new planet to infest. They were interested in colonizing earth, and sent a single mosquito scout and spy out the land. The first creature it saw was a wandering lone wolf. It landed and bit the wolf in the paw. Unknowingly it transferred a radioactive itch to the wolf. The mosquito flew back to its headquarters and suggested they not take over earth due to all global warming. That same night there was a party in the Maillard neighbourhood and William Thompson, a good-natured grade 7 student, was invited to go. He was having plenty of fun listening to music with headphones on and dancing with his eyes closed. Everyone thought it’d be funny to sneak out to the park while William was dancing with his eyes closed, so they did! When William finally opened his eyes, everyone was gone! How embarrassing! He decided to head home, a little sad and dejected.

3. THE NIGHT HOWLER BACK STORY
On his way home he decided to take a short cut through the ravine. Unfortunately was so focused on his music still, he slipped and fell down to the bottom. But that was where the infected wolf was taking a drink from the stream. As William crash landed at the bottom, he bumped into the wolf. As any wolf would, it turned and bit William in the arm. Ouch! His scream scared off the wolf, but that’s when it happened. He took on super powers from the alien mosquito infected wolf. His body started to change into being a two-legged half-wolf, and now he had the super powers of wolf strength, wolf agility, and super dancing.

4. THE NIGHT HOWLER BACK STORY
William turned off his music and his body miraculously turned back to being a normal 12 year old boy again. Strange. He hoped he was dreaming this all up. William put his headphones back on and turned on the music as he walked home. He turned back into the human-wolf form again! He realized the powers emerged when he listened to music with his headphones.
He made it home and kept it a secret from his friends and family. Legend has it that William still lives in the area and goes by his superhero name of Night Howler when people are in need. He never wants anyone to feel lonely, left out, or embarrassed like he did that night he left the party by himself.

5. We all know the backstory of our hero, William Thompson, AKA the Night Howler…so let’s begin this adventure called…
Store robbery.

6. One day, at Maillard Middle School, the Night Howler asked to be this boy’s friend. He was lonely. This boy was also lonely. So he thought they’d be good friends. This boys name was Mick. William thought he was a normal boy. Until he found out that this boy had powers, too. Mick also had powers, but they were a little different. He was stung by a jellyfish in the same ravine! His powers allow him to sting people and give them serious burns. His powers activate when he plays a game on his phone. They got to be really good friends, but oh boy they didn’t know what they were in for today!

7. Today William and Mick decided to go the mall, Lougheed Mall, when they decided to….

8. William and Mick went along and headed to the food court
William and Mick went along and headed to the food court. William was craving something cultural so he went to Manchu Wok to get some food. Mick was craving something that would he hadn’t had in a while so he decided to go to KFC. After eating, they decided to head to their favourite store but what they found was not what they had ever imagined.

9. As William and Mick walked into their favourite store they noticed something was unusual…. EVERYTHING WAS GONE! All their favourite toys, games, books, and video games were all gone! William and Mick decided to head over to the cashier, Macy, to see what has happened to everything.
As William and Mick talked to Macy, she tells them that yesterday at 7:10pm the store was robbed. As Macy was telling them the story William and Mick were sad. But then they looked at each other. Remembering that they both had powers.
William and Mick walked out of the store to make a plan on how they were going to get this robber in jail. After that William and Mick returned back in the store they both split up. Mick looks for evidence around the store, while William looks at the security cameras.

10. William decides to look at the security cameras
William decides to look at the security cameras. As he looks he sees a pretty good close up of the robbers face. He takes a picture with his phone and asks Macy if she had called the police or reported to anyone about this situation. Macy replies that she hadn’t called the police or reported this situation. William grabs Micks arm and waves goodbye to Macy. The two boys hop on their bikes and head to the police station!

11. Mick searches around the store looking for a hat, fingerprint, a clue, anything! When Mick was in the video game section, he noticed that their was something under the rough tall shelf. It seemed to be a piece of paper. This paper also seemed to have something written on it. Mick picked up the crinkled paper and un folded it. This paper had a phone number on it with messy writing. It was as if this was in someone’s pocket. But this person dropped it maybe because they were in a rush. Mick took this paper and asked William if the robber had dropped a piece of paper in the security cameras. William nodded. Mick grabbed Williams arm and waved to Macy. Mick told William to get on his bike and head to the police station!

12. William and Mick explained to the officer everything
William and Mick explained to the officer everything. William showed him the picture of the robber tooken on his phone. Mick showed the officer the piece of crinkled paper. The officer took the paper to the exam room. He ran the paper over and found a thumb print. The officer also took a look at the picture tooken on William’s phone. The officer put the piece of paper with a thumbprint on it to a machine. This machine works by placing a thumbprint down then scanning it and matching it to the persons face. When the thumbprint was done scanning the officer took one more look at the robber’s picture on William’s phone. Both faces on the machine and on William's phone matched . The officer paged the police men and he awarded William and Mick as heroes for catching the got away robber! But the officer wasn’t sure how to reward the boys did he…..

13. THE END Back to beginning Get the boys a toy path
The officer took the two boys to dairy queen for ice cream. The officer got the banana sundae, Mick got a vanilla milkshake, and William got a chocolate sundae. The boys ate their food and then headed to the park. As soon as they got to the park everyone clapped and thanked them for finding the robber. The two boys truly did save the day!

The officer took the boys to toys r us. William and Mick both got a new penny board. Except Mick’s was blue and William’s was red. As they were paying William and Mick got their money out but the officer stopped them and told them that he would pay for the boys’ new penny boards as a reward for saving the store and saving the day!
