Words to describe music Their music is quite soft and mellow. Calm ≠ upbeat relaxing ≠ energising slow ≠ fast It helps you relax/concentrate. It makes me dance/move/think/relax.

It makes me feel relaxed. This song is so energising. It makes me energised. Some adjectives have two endings –ed and –ing Exciting – excited Interesting – interested Boring - bored Use –ed to speak about your feelings. Use –ing to speak about the effect of something.
