Trinidad and tobago Tobago Trinidad SOUTH AMERICA SOUTH AMERICA
As its name implies Trinidad and Tobago is a two island nation located in the southern part of the Caribbean Sea area between North America and South America. It has a land area of just over 5000 square kilometers and as of 2013 a population of 1.34 million. The islands sit just off the coast of South America and consequently they are impacted by the run off from the Orinoco and Amazon rivers which emanate from that continent.

BACKGROUND Currently teach foundation courses in Ocean Remote Sensing and GIS Research on mapping issues for small islands, coral reefs and other coastal ecosystems. Also involved in the use of UAV’s for coast and ocean mapping. Why am I here? To learn more about the use of satellite imagery for ocean colour mapping To add this knowledge to my teaching curriculum To extend the technology within my region To develop a PhD. research question. To forge friendships and partnerships with all of you.
