Designer can create output files, including Mosaic-based files. There are some performance considerations for your customer to understand before deciding if Designer on the workstation offers sufficient processing power.
Composer-Lite is designed to be installed and run on an HP SmartStream L&P Print Server. It is a fully-featured version of Composer but is limited to running a single instance of the software.
Composer is a server-based solution that is shipped on a dedicated ProLiant Gen9 server and runs 22 instances of Composer for increased processing power.
There are many considerations when deciding if Designer, Composer-Lite, or Composer Server offers sufficient processing power for your customers needs. You should always consult with your Solutions Architect prior to offering your customer a final proposal to make sure that the customer’s expectations are properly set.

17. Connectivity to PrintOS
PrintOS Composer accepts a Designer Template file (HPD) with a related DB file, and creates a composed PDF output file
Now, in addition to the existing manual workflow, we have an automated workflow
Select Pack Job, destination - to HP PrintOS Composer
Define the HP PrintOS Composer parameters and click Pack
The HP PrintOS Composer will compose the output file, according to the DB file selected in Designer Database window prior to creating the HPD. Note: it is possible to replace the DB on HP PrintOS Composer before it composes the output file
The PDF output file can be then downloaded to user’s computer

18. Improved integration with Barcode Studio
A barcode icon was added as a shortcut which automatically selects the channel type to be Dynamic image and the application to be Barcode Studio
The barcode icon opens the Barcode Studio Settings window or issues an error if Barcode Studio application is not installed

All for one and one for all. Each spine is personalized with the recipient's name, and when stacked together, the spines display the complete fireworks image

23. Wallpaper, an international design magazine, celebrated its 20th anniversary with 220,000 unique posters created using HP SmartStream Mosaic
Instead, using many Black-Bitmap-Tif files, we could place the Mosaic channels on one another – change the elements and shuffle the colors on any one of them with a different set of colors while overprinting them on one another thus getting many more exciting colors and unique variations.
These two pages have more than 30(!?!) Mosaic channels and were created in 2 minutes per batch via Composer! Amazing job.
This job also stretched the limits of HP PrintOS Box as we connected the Composer to their account and uploaded more than
90GB of files from Israel directly to their DFE in England in a single day!

26. Azra, a large offset house in Istanbul, showcased to their customers their digital capabilities with a campaign that included a unique design invitation, shopping bag and notebooks using HP SmartStream Mosaic.
