Overview Sponsored discounts provide added value to IEEE membership for those who want to participate The objective is to offer an advantage over non-group price or features IEEE does not pay anything to offer discounts to members Discount programs generate non-dues revenue which help to reduce the cost of membership for all members

Di$count$ The IEEE discounts portfolio generates approximately US$5 million per year in royalties, or about US$14 per higher grade member worldwide Additionally, some benefits providers generate ad revenue for Spectrum, IEEETV, Canadian Review, et al We receive sponsorship funds for IEEE Xtreme Programming Competition, new WIE careers e-book and other activities as a result of these relationships

US Canada Singapore Effective Date: Mar-05 Apr-07 Jan-06 Issuer: US Bank MBNA Diners Club Total Accounts As of December 2011 5,320 2,837 402 New credit card originations are few; outstanding card balances are down; active cards are down. This may be a sign of the economy. Product/rates continue to be competitive for bank credit card programs. IEEE continues to receive annual royalties.

Base rate reduction of 10% on entire currently marketed member group term-life plan; and, additionally Base rate reduction of 13 percent for age bands in the Plan below age 30 Base rate reduction of 5 percent for age 61 band in the Plan Base rate reduction of 10 percent for ages in the Plan Base rate reduction of 20 percent for age 64 in the Plan
