A major city in Normandy is Caen. It is known for its historical buildings that were built during the time of William the Conqueror. Caen is also known for its battle, This battle destroyed most of the town due to heavy duty fighting. This battle was so big it became more significant than other battles like, Battle of Crecy and siege of Calais.

Most people go to Caen to visit the spectacular Peace Memorial Museum. You start with the end of WW1, The Great Depression and “The Failure of Peace.” You then move onto "France in the Dark Years" which include a film on the Battle of Britain. This is followed by "World War–Total War“ as there is another film.
