Tools to identify Keywords and MeSH
Google & Google Scholar Looking at MeSH headings from key articles Citation analysis – Scopus & Web of Science – who has cited whom Scope Notes in Medline, Embase, CINAHL Text matching tools MeSH on Demand PubMed Reminer
8
EndNote’s 5 star rating column is used to indicate JBI Level of Evidence
Research Notes field is used to record 5a, 5b, 5c etc
9
MeSH Subject headings were exported from EndNote to a Word table for the for the Systematic review “ “Effectiveness of psychosocial interventions in reducing grief experienced by family carers of people with dementia.”

Text mining tool- PubMed ReMiner
Great tool for identifying key authors, MeSH headings and journals that publish on a particular topic.
12
PubMed ReMiner
13
Text mining tool - MeSH on Demand
Paste in text from a protocol - abstract Software text matches and identifies MeSH Terms within the text No human intervention or evaluation Provides a list of 10 citations related to the text submitted Acknowledgements to Julie Glanville.
14
The last paragraph of the dementia systematic review protocol has been pasted into MeSH on Demand. The program identifies MeSH terms on the right. Hovering your mouse over the MeSH term on the right column highlights the relevant words within the text.

Documenting the Search Process
A word document is created to document the search strategy process. In this case the original Evidence Summary was published in I updated the search in 2015 and 2017.
20
The databases, date searched, number of new references found (along with initial author name) along with the name of the saved search is recorded.

Skills & knowledge gained working for WAGEIHP
Honed search skills in a variety of platforms Detective skills in sourcing full text articles Use of text mining tools Up-skilled in EndNote & sharing two EndNote libraries with researchers at the same time. Google Translate for foreign language articles
