First, Congratulations!
Our programs were more competitive this year than ever! We received over 1250 applications and accepted just over 600 students. Morgridge continues to be one of the largest colleges at DU with more than 800 students. MCE is also the most racially-diverse college at DU. Morgridge College of Education morgridge.du.edu

Books and Class Supplies
Some students will know their class schedules over the summer Check out the available coursework plans on the MCE website You can buy/rent textbooks from the DU Bookstore ( or from other retailers such as Amazon.com If you haven’t already, you will receive registration information from a Morgridge College of Education Academic Services Associate. Specific information about your classes, coursework plans, and advising will come from your academic department. Some students will have an idea of their Autumn Quarter classes over the summer, but most of our students will not know until it gets closer to the beginning of the quarter, or at Orientation. Once you know your classes, you can look on the DU Bookstore website or in person to find the required textbooks for your classes. The DU bookstore has new, and sometimes used books, and you can also rent books from the bookstore. Many students also get their books other places, like Amazon.com, and can sometimes save money. Just make sure you are getting the correct edition of the text. We recommend searching by IBN. Some classes will not require a specific text, but will pull from an array of diverse sources which professors make available electronically for free. Next, Noah will discuss some helpful technology.
