To practise this treat all writing, for all subjects, as though it’s for an exam: Be neat Be accurate Be organised Be detailed

Practise Writing One effective way to practise writing is to keep a diary No-one has to see this Aim to write for at least ten minutes about what has happened in your day It’s hard at first… it gets easier It encourages you to be detailed thoughtful and observant in your writing

And in my experience as a parent…
Keep nagging – they need, want and expect you to Support and encourage - praise Offer small rewards What they like for tea Snacks Make them a coffee Take them to the cinema… Tell them to stop or have a night or day away from it all if it’s getting too overwhelming
