Kindergarten Readiness Funding Update
Barren County Schools Readiness Camp 122 students in 2016; 20 in 2015 without UWSK funding 2016/17= 60.8% tested ready; 56.5% in 2015/16 The Foundry Preschool Academy 18 of 19 preschoolers on track to be Kindergarten Ready 80% of students entered Dishman McGinnis and Parker Bennett-Curry Kindergarten Ready Overall a 15% increase at these 2 schools

Kindergarten Readiness Funding Update
Russellville Schools Little Panthers Academy Attendance for children and parents has doubled since September. 15 children to 30 and 9 parents to 18 Will begin conducting Preschool Brigance Screen in 2017/18 Richardsville Little Bobcats Parents as Teachers 15 children served by in-home visits; 18 additional served in group sessions 4 of 5 children entering Kindergarten will test Ready

Environmental Rating Scale Training
Quality Measurement System FREE ITERS-R and ECERS-R training on May 20th at GRREC Open to all licensed Childcare in the BRADD Participants receive 3 credit hours of continuing education and a FREE manual to use at their child care facility

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library
Monthly age appropriate books sent to the home until age 5 Currently 4,387 enrolled across the 9 county service area 132,678 books mailed since inception in 2011 2,837 children have graduated from this program since inception 6,542 children have benefitted from books since inception
