Live With Her: To Cohabit. To Dwell With…Gen. 2:24.
With Understanding: Literally, According to Knowledge…GET TO KNOW HER!

4. Knowing She is More Delicate…
As with the Weaker Vessel.
We are all Earthen Vessels, 2 Cor. 4:7, 2 Tim. 2:20, 21.
NOT that women are unequal or insufficient.
All in Christ Jesus are equal, Gal. 3:28.
God made woman to be your COUNTERPART. That means she completes you. Gen. 2:18.

5. Knowing she is an Heiress…
Show her Honor: Respect, in regards to her status.
She is an Heiress of “the grace of life.” 1 Peter 1:4
No Other Religion grants this status to women.
You are married to Royalty.

6. Knowing God will hold you Accountable:
Hindered Prayers: Hinder; to cut in on, to block the way.
Spelled out in v. 12, “The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and His ears are attentive to their prayer. But the face of the LORD is against those who do evil.”
Husbands, we have incentive for obedience: Spiritual blessing or hindrance.

7. Spiritual Life Principle Application:
Because of the work of the Spirit in my heart:
I will strive to live with my wife in understanding.
I will remember to treat her as a fellow heir of an eternal inheritance.
I will pray for her.
I will cherish her.
I will honor her in private and in public.
