10 Great is Thy Faithfulness
Deuteronomy 32:4: “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He.”

11 Great is Thy Faithfulness
Deuteronomy 32:4: “The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He.” Romans 3:3: “What then? If some did not believe, their unbelief will not nullify the faithfulness of God, will it?”

12 Restrained Power “Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls For My yoke is easy and My burden is light” Matthew 11:29-30. What do you desire? Shall I come to you with a rod, or with love and a spirit of gentleness? 1 Corinthians 4:21. “Now I, Paul, myself urge you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ” 2 Corinthians 10:1. “but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence” 1 Peter 3:15.

13 Literally ‘from strength’
εγκρατέια We have no spiritual strength

14 Fervent Prayer for spiritual strength
Luke 22:43-44: “Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him. And being in agony He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground.”

15 Self-Control “Enkrateia [self control] is that great quality which comes to a man when Christ is in his heart, that quality which makes him able to live and to walk in the world, and yet to keep his garments unspotted from the world” John Stott.

16 Passions & Desires “headaches & addictions” “It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich, and He adds no sorrow to it” Proverbs 10:22.

17 Our deepest desires as Christians
“Holiness is the naturalness of the spiritually risen man, just as sin is the naturalness of the spiritually dead man, and in pursuing holiness by obeying God the Christian actually follows the deepest urge of his own renewed being” J. I. Packer

18 A Shelter in the Storm The Lord’s our Rock, in Him we hide, A Shelter in the time of storm; Secure whatever ill betide, A Shelter in the time of storm. Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land, A weary land, a weary land; Oh, Jesus is a Rock in a weary land, A Shelter in the time of storm. A shade by day, defense by night, A Shelter in the time of storm; No fears alarm, no foes afright, A Shelter in the time of storm.

19 my Jesus, I Love You My Jesus, I love Thee, I know Thou art mine; For Thee all the follies of sin I resign. My gracious Redeemer, my Savior art Thou; If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now. I love thee because thou hast first loved me and purchased my pardon on Calvary's tree; I love thee for wearing the thorns on thy brow; if ever I loved thee, my Jesus, 'tis now. I’ll love Thee in life, I will love Thee in death, And praise Thee as long as Thou lendest me breath; And say when the death dew lies cold on my brow, If ever I loved Thee, my Jesus, ’tis now.

20 Soli Deo Gloria!!!
