Hours Required 600 Hours > 80 Consecutive Student Contact Days > 16 Weeks Work Outside Work Strongly Discouraged Choice of Site Child’s School is Not Allowed Worked Previously Springboard for Employment Professionalism Class Professional Dispositions *Professional Disposition Handout* McLoraine Scholarship Donor was very specific in helping undergraduate students Undergraduate Students Only (possibility to open this up to Graduate students in the future), 50% or Higher FRLR, Must Teach in a High-Need School for 3 Years After Receiving Licensure

Timing Secondary-take as soon as all content coursework is completed Elementary and ECSE-take early in program All tests must be taken and passed prior to student teaching application March 1 for Fall Student Teaching September 15 for Spring Student Teaching Support Available Test Preparation Seminar Saturday, April 9, 2016 DTC 224 9:00am-11:00am Test Preparation Booklets Available in the Office of Clinical Practice (for use in office)
