5. Verbs followed by the infinitive
The verbs vouloir, devoir, pouvoir are always followed by the infinitive
Use the verb aller plus infinitive to indicate that something is going to happen
Use the verb venir followed by de plus infinitive to indicate that something just happened

6. Tell when and how often you did something

Use:
To say that something happened at a specific time
With the helping verb etre or avoir and the past participle of the main verb
The helping verb avoir is used with most verbs in passe compose
The helping verb etre is used with verbs of transition and motion and with reflexive verbs

9. Negative sentences To make a sentence negative, use ne/n' + verb + pas
Je ne mange pas aujourd'hui
Je n'ai pas faim

10. Passe compose and imparfait
Use imparfait to talk about events that used to happen and to describe things, people and situations in the past
To conjugate verbs in imparfait take the present tense nous form of the verb, minus -ons and add: ais, ais, ait, ions, iez, aient

Reflexive verbs always use être as helping verb in passe compose
Reflexive verbs always go with reflexive pronouns
Match reflexive pronoun with the appropriate subject or pronoun as follow:
