The company
Reflex Winkelmann GmbH with its headquarters in Ahlen, Westphalia is part of the “Winkelmann Building + Industry” division of the Winkelmann Group, which employs more than 4,500 people worldwide – 1,500 of which work at Reflex. Norbert Hülsmann and Volker Mauel are the managing directors of Reflex Winkelmann GmbH. The company is a leading brand manufacturer and solutions provider of high-quality systems for the smooth operation of water-carrying systems in supply technology and modern HVACR. With the integration of Sinusverteiler, it was possible to integrate additional competence in 2014, providing a meaningful addition to the product portfolio.

In terms of innovative strength, the corporate division under the strong umbrella of the Winkelmann Group benefits from the dynamic automotive business, among others.

2. Reflex corporate history
1889 Foundation of a commercial company to produce water boilers and coffee pots, soap dishes, dustpans and milk churns by Heinrich Winkelmann and Caspar Pannhoff in Ahlen
1950 In the mid-1950s, production moved from enamelled household and kitchen appliances to sheet steel shapes and special components for mechanical engineers, the automobile industry and heating and hot water technology
1987 Foundation of Reflex Winkelmann + Pannhoff GmbH + Co.
1994 Foundation of Reflex Polska Sp. Z o.o., Wabrzezno/Poland
2000 Acquisition of Otto Heat Heizungs-, Energie- und Anlagentechnik GmbH + Co. KG
2010 Takeover of the Winkelmann Group’s management by Heinrich Winkelmann, meaning a continuation of the family-run company into its fourth generation
2013 Reflex brand relaunch and new claim; opening of Reflex Training Center in Ahlen
2014 Acquisition of Sinusverteiler GmbH
2015 Introduction of Winkelmann production system to optimise and increase efficiency of production processes
2016 Foundation of a Reflex sales company in Dubai
