Please Help Me to Remember! 2 Peter 3:1
READ IT It is more important to read it SLOWLY and carefully than to read it quickly and carelessly. Two and three readings are not uncommon! TAKE NOTES No one can remember everything “automatically”. Keep a notebook and pencil handy and mark the difficult passages for further study. RECORD YOUR QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS Record your thoughts (questions and comments) as they arise. Return to them when you finish the CONTEXT of study. Often, the answers are found and the comments clarified. READ IT AGAIN! This time, READ IT ALOUD! The scriptures were dictated and so reading them aloud grants inflection and emphasis: therefore, increased understanding and remembrance.
