3. DESCRIPTION OF MY DREAM CLASSROOM LAYOUT
The layout of my dream classroom will be full of technology, colorful and at the same time very functional. In my classroom, I will have two smart boards, one located next to the door and one on the other side of the room. The two smart boards will be connected to the outlet. There will be wires plugged into the projector, chrome book, and the ELMO. The hardware will be located on the stand-up desk. The video cable/(VGA) video splitter will be connected from the laptop to the projector. The chromebooks will be stored in a chargeable cart located next to the round tables. The round tables will be used when students will be required to use chromebooks. Also, next to the chromebook cart, I will have a wireless printer on the table that will be plugged into the outlet. On the same table I will also have a digital camera and headphones. All of the wires will be connected and plugged into the switch outside the classroom In addition to the above, the classroom will contain whiteboards, easel, kidney table, rectangular desks, chairs, and teacher desk. There will be a classroom library with lots of shelves filled with books. The kids will be able to sit on the bean bags and the rug. The classroom walls will be filled with bulletin boards displaying students’ work and educational posters. There will be a closet to store students’ coats, backpacks and separate storage area for supplies.

4. BUDGET PLAN
The classroom of my dreams will consist of many different types of hardware and software that will suit and benefit my students and myself. While designing my classroom, the first thing I took into consideration was the budget. The equipment and technology can become very expensive so I decided that my budget will be $20,000. It will cover the cost of the hardware, software, and other equipment.

5. In my dream classroom, I will have two smart boards with speakers attached to it. By purchasing the two sets, it will allow me to work with my students in different ways. There are many times in a day when my students are done with an assignment and I would love to show them other things that they can work on without distracting other students. By having the second smart board on the other side of the classroom will allow me to show my students assignments, activity, or anything else I will want them to work on without distracting others at their desks Having speakers will allow my students to listen to the stories on the smart board, teach a math lesson or show an educational video. Without having the speakers we wouldn’t be able to hear anything on the smart board Lastly, having the smart boards and the speakers attached to the wall will create more space in the classroom and it wouldn’t be in anyone's way.
SMARTBOARD & SPEAKERS
Smart board: SB680, 77” with the power of a computer, interactive whiteboard connects to your projector to display your laptop/desktop on the interactive whiteboard. You can control applications on the screen, write notes in digital ink and save your work to share later.
Speakers: two 14-watt, stereo-amplified speakers that provide a consistent sound level in rooms up to 1,000 sq. ft. (93 m2). These speakers feature a volume control and integrated USB hub.

6. PROJECTOR
The projector is necessary, in order to operate and use the smart board on daily basis. This particular projector will allow me to display the images in a sharp and clear way. In addition, the projector has a remote control that will allow me to adjust the setting from across the room, which is something that will come in handy.

7. ELMO PROJECTOR
Having an Elmo Projector will be a great hardware to have in my classroom. Elmo projector will allow me to show students steps to solving a problem and simultaneously interact with them. Also with ELMO it is a lot easier to explain a project, activity, or assignment since I can display the material on the projector. This will allow all students to view the material on the smart board at the same time. In addition, it is a lot simpler to work with different manipulatives and present them to the students by projecting it through the ELMO. Lastly, with ELMO projector, students will be able to present their own projects, papers, or any other assignments and the rest of the student will be able to see at the same time.

8. LAPTOP
&
USB DRIVE
I decided to purchase a laptop and USB flash drive for myself. A laptop will allow me to write and publish lesson plans, communicate with parents, get new ideas for lessons on the web. It will also allow me to create activities and assessments for my students. The laptop will have a dvd/cd drive that will be used for video projections. The USB flash drive will be used for data backup store and transfer of files.

9. CHROMEBOOKS
Chromebooks will be a perfect addition to my dream classroom. Having chromebooks will enable me to have more space in the classroom. Also, all of my students will be able to utilize them at the same time. I decided to purchase 30 chromebooks in order to ensure they are accessible to every student.

10. ALL IN-ONE PRINTER
This particular printer is wireless which means that my students and I will be able to print from any of the chromebooks that are in use. This printer also prints in black and white as well as in color. With this printer, I will be able to scan, copy, and print photos/material that will help me with my day to day activities.

11. Purchasing a digital camera will allow me to take pictures of my students while they are working on a project, during school programs, field trips/field day, and throughout the school year. I can also take pictures of students work and post it on the school website or display them in the hallway.

12. HEADPHONES
Headphones will enable students to work on an assignment/activity when they hare required to watch and listen to a video. It will also help students focus on the assignment and eliminate distraction.

13. CHROMEBOOK STORAGE AND
CHARGING CART
Since I need to store and charge the chromebooks, I decided to purchase this particular cart with 30 slots. This is a chargeable cart, therefore it is not necessary to have multiple wires plugged in to the outlet. The cart is operable by key and when not in use the equipment is locked and secured. Having this cart will allow me to stay organized and maneuver easily around the classroom.

14. STAND-UP DESK
This special desk, allows me to keep ELMO, projector, laptop, teaching materials and other equipment together at perfect height for comfortable use. Also, I will be able to move my stand-up desk anywhere and anytime I want depending what smart board I will be using in a particular time.

15. Even though, the desks will be supplied by school, I added round tables with chairs that will be utilized when using chromebooks. I believe having these round tables will allow my students to work on an assignment or activity without distracting other students at their desks. Also, it will be easier for students to work in groups and share their work. Lastly, it will allow me to walk more freely and assist my students when needed.

Gradelink- will allow to look at student information, take attendance, develop report cards, and have a grade book. Students and parents will have limited access.

Moodle- to post assignments, weekly newsletters, contact information, guidelines, post remainders about homework, tests, projects & school events.
