What to expect during your first appointment
Assessment What to expect during your first appointment Detailed questioning about: Your problem Medical history Current medication Physical examination (time allowing) Discussion of diagnoses, treatment plan, treatment and advice (time allowing)

Assessment Each new patient will be fully assessed and a treatment plan developed by a fully qualified chartered physiotherapist, or a supervised student. Following each assessment you will be given an explanation of the findings and treatment options will be discussed and agreed.

Non Attendance Missed hospital appointments cost the NHS more than £600 million a year. The department has a policy for non-attendance: We ask for 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment If you fail to attend an appointment you must contact us within 1 week to re-book. If you fail to attend two appointments you will be discharged
