The Swiss Alps: are a big tourist attraction because of their beautiful sites and the long hike
Lausanne: is a big tourist attraction with all of the beaches and lakes around this area
Chillon Castle: located on lake Geneva this castle with one hundred buildings is the most famous castle in Switzerland

3. Holidays, Special Events
Swiss National Day: celebrated on August 1st since 1994.
Stephen’s Day: celebrated on December 26th also know as Stephanstag in German.
Whit Monday: also known as the Monday of holy spirit. It is the holiday celebrated after Pentecost.

The only uniformity in Switzerland lies in the mailboxes and the soldiers uniforms
A very big part in Swiss culture is to shake every persons hand that you see or meet while looking them in the eye

The type of currency used is the Swiss franc.
The exchange rate between one franc and one U.S dollar is: 1 U. dollar= franc

They are also a beautiful site to look at
