A consultancy practice with its roots in the Netherlands, mainly focused on all services around the Oracle JD Edwards product. Any service a JD Edwards customer might look for. Implementations, Upgrades, Problem solving, Managed Services. What gives us an edge, is our portfolio of JD Edwards Add Ons. For these add ons, we have built up a large customer base in the USA and Canada.

5 We are mainly here to tell you about the solutions we offer.
You might have heard about our Packman package deployment automation solution, or our Scanman Invoice automation solution. Solutions that help automate otherwise manual processes in JDE. We have been presenting these solutions at different events over the year and will have sessions on these solutions the coming days as well. The CGI Payman and BCM solutions we bring are focused on automating bank payment related processes: for both outgoing and incoming payments. As we have found a way to bring HTML inside of JD Edwards, we also bring a plan board with calender views and drag and drop. But this session is on workflow automation and collaboration

8 “Does real estate need a property management system with accounting functionality, or does real estate require a General Ledger based ERP- System with real estate functionality?”

9 Why Real Estate needs an ERP with a finance core
Multiple and complex financial streams Multiple business units External en internal stakeholders Institutional investors Private investors Authorities Multiple business models incorporated in one single company Multiple currencies, languages, GAAP and taxes

Tenant Billings Forecasting & Budgetting Lease & Unit Level Budgeting Sales Forecasting Discounted Cash Flow Analysis Valuations IRR Expense, Cap-Ex Budgeting Rent Roll Percentage Rent Security Deposit Common Area Maintenance Collections Occupancy Finance function General Ledger Consolidation Multi-currency Local vs. Group - GAAP Measure Performance Advanced Real Estate Forecasting NPV, IRR, ROI Forecasted Cash flows Budgeting Development Project Costing Supplier Relationship Management Contract Management and Commitment Procurement Contract Billing Web-based Time Entry E-Procurement Service Prospect & Lease Mgmt Call Center Work Orders Preventive Maintenance Service & Warranty Management Pipeline Forecast Contact Management Lease Production

14 Automating ‘non-ERP’ functions
‘Non-ERP’ functions: Process-centric Sales / CRM Legal / Contract Management Facility Management / Case management &Inspections ‘What do I see when I log on, in the morning starting my work’ Sales: Entering information about prospects, leads and have staff following them up. Legal: Have legal staff look at agreements, have them authorized them or let them make contracts, for instance as part of the onboarding of suppliers. Facility management: Trigger service managers and staff to work on specific tasks that based on an incident reported, Inspections and related documentation can be triggered by an event, for instant a tenant leaving an apartment. In JD Edwards, it is difficult to enforce a workflow for these activities. And to automate the paperwork that is involved. You can try to customize JD Edwards and fit it in somehow. Obviously, also ERP functions could be enhanced when working with workflow. In the latest releases, watchlists have enabled triggers on tasks and enabled a base workflow structure in JDE. These functions are not looking for the rigid, relatively complex columnar screens JD Edwards offers. They only make limited use of the information in JDE and put limited information into JDE.

15 + Workflow / flex UI ERP A comprehensive solution
The solution we will show you is not inside of JD Edwards. It is a cloud based solution, offered by Citrix. We have become very enthousiastic about this solution. For us this combination of solutions makes it possible to automate and implement the processes we cannot cover with standard JD Edwards and its toolset.

27 System Requirements Solution for: Multi currency
Accounting Management reporting Property management Workflow management Multi currency Manage local GAAP and tax requirements Manage group consolidation and reporting Manage different (real estate) businesses Scalable Cloud based, accessible from any location

28 Why ERP projects fail Wrong system or (changing) design
(Over)customization Lack of top-management commitment No proper planning Not the right team Inadequate testing No sufficient training and poor communication Too big Too fast Poor change management Lack of buy-in at end-user level

29 Aevitas’ approach ERP managed centrally No customization
Senior management project sponsor Phased roll-out country-by-country Built-up ‘from scratch’ starting with limited number of assets and functionality Limited conversions or migration of data Gradually adding new functionality

30 No customization solution
Define group chart of accounts Set-up companies Localizations and VAT set-up Define localization specific accounts Create a localization ledger to make local (statutory) adjustments to the group (AA/AU) ledger BI publisher for local templates for invoicing/xml exports Reporting tool (ReportsNow) for all (statutory) reporting Flexible Calculation module (Denovo) for debt management and Valuation calculations.
