This hatred continues even in our modern world.
Often people have a fear and distrust for others who are different than them.
Powerful leaders who have this sort of belief system can dangerous!
Project Background

3. Soon we will study about a special young lady and her family who were mistreated because of their ethnicity and religion.
Anne Frank is a Jewish girl who has to go into hiding during World War Two to avoid the Nazis. Together with seven others she hides in a secret annex. After almost 2 years in hiding they are discovered and deported to concentration camps. Anne’s father, Otto Frank, is the only one of the eight people to survive. After her death Anne becomes world famous because of the diary she wrote while in hiding.

4. To build and share a webpage that details and provides examples of discrimination and persecution toward a group of people in society. You may choose modern day or historical examples.
All work must be completed and ready to share by the end of the period on Monday, October 6th.
