Surface Pro 4 is the same width and height as Surface Pro 3, but since the bezel has been reduced, the usable screen size is even larger – now 12.3” of usable screen space as opposed to 12”. The screen gets even brighter with 267dpi – it CRUSHES retina! Generally a high resolution screen is taxing on the battery. However, due to the new SkyLake processor, we’ve been able to actually increase the battery life.

A. No, Surface Pro 4 is not downgradable. It was completely redesigned on the inside to be optimized for Windows 10 with a long battery life, great Wi-Fi connections and display drivers for the 267dpi displays.
