2a. Contact your Den office to obtain your VPC (verification code)
1. If you have a student or parent portal account, sign into your account 1a. Create a new account if you have not accessed your student or parent portal previously 1b. If an account already exists, please use the Forgot Password prompt to reset your password 2a. Contact your Den office to obtain your VPC (verification code) (925) Den 1 = ext. 5214 Den 2 = ext. 5219 Den 3 = ext. 5216 Den 4 = ext. 5210 2. If you have forgotten your password, follow the Forgot Password prompt

Frequently asked Questions and Helpful Hints
Use your completed Course Selection Worksheet to help you Go online to to log in and request your classes. (Classes have been preloaded for you based on grade level and current academy identification) To add a class, type in the course number in the “Name or Nmbr” box To delete a class, click on the button Add alternate choices by clicking on “Add Alternates”. You must add at least 2 alternates If you request a semester class, please choose an additional semester class to go with it You cannot delete a “preloaded” class. If you opt for a different class level, please include it on your list. We will later remove you from the preloaded course and keep the requested level. Academies (Optional) If you are in an Academy this year: you will automatically be added into your Academy again. If you would like to newly join an Academy: please enter the appropriate “7777” code that coincides with your Academy preference your corresponding Academy electives will be added for you later If you no longer wish to be in the Academy: delete the 7777 Academy code from your request list You should have at least 8 year-long (or equivalent) classes selected in the left-hand column and 2 or more alternates in the ‘alternate’ column

Example to select an AP course to replace a preloaded core class
This step is for students who want to change course to the higher level In this screen you can modify the preloaded course by selecting the higher level course such as in English, science, and history when available Example to select an AP course to replace a preloaded core class You will not be able to remove an English or History class. If you choose to take the AP equivalent, the regular class will be removed when scheduling is complete.

This step is for students who want to change course to the higher level In this screen you can modify the preloaded course by selecting the higher level course such as in English, science, and history when available Example to select an AP course To change Spanish 3 to AP Spanish 3 – don’t forget to delete Spanish 3 (3630) Please remember that Advanced Placement courses will have a minimum of hours of homework weekly

If you wish to withdraw from an academy, delete the academy class and add the course ID for that core subject area, i.e., ChemCom TLC 5150T to ChemCom 5150

If you are a freshman or sophomore and wish to join an academy, please select the appropriate course ID for that academy – 7777B = Business Academy 7777H = Health Career 7777A = PADA 7777T = TLC
