5. IUPUI/Ivy Tech Passport Office
For over 25 years, the jointly funded Passport Office has
enhanced transfer student initiatives between Ivy Tech
Community College Central Indiana (ITCI) and Indiana
University –Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI).
Purpose:
To increase access to ITCI students in the eight-county Indianapolis region to a full range of post-secondary education degree options, from the associate through the doctoral levels.
Mission:
Ensure coordination between IUPUI and ITCI credit courses, non-credit courses, student services, needs assessment, and marketing.
Monitor and help promote coordinated student services to facilitate student transfers, concurrent enrollment, and course credit transfer.
Promote both institutions as post-secondary institutions which collaborate to meet the full range of community educational needs
