How does God reveal himself in this situation?
In this situation he sends Joseph to Egypt to become a leader and save the people from the famine. He reveals himself through Joseph by using him to save the people.
Who is God here?
- He is a merciful father who never abandons Joseph through all of his hardships.
What does he do?
-God helped Joseph interpret dreams, and warned the people about the famine. He made Joseph excel in everything he did, and made him a leader in Egypt.

- Pharaoh, Joseph and his family
How did they respond to God?
- Pharaoh believed, Joseph trusted God, and him family were sorry for what they did to Joseph.

- It foreshadows that God will send his son to save the people from their sins, just like he sent Joseph to save Egypt.
