5. Housing assignments timeline
Mid-June
Contracts due for wave 1 (for students who chose rooms May 22-26)
Roommate information available for wave 1 room selection participants
Wave 2 of room selection begins
June 8 – July 20
Room changes offered if possible in the order in which they are received and if space becomes available
July 24
Final roommate information/no more changes until the first day of class

August 6-13

7. Arrival All residence hall contracts begin on August 6
Resident arrival times will be staggered on August 6 & 7
Info about how and when to select an arrival time slot ed in June
Students arriving August 8-13 may check into their building at any time, 24 hours a day
All residents must check in by 9 a.m. on August 14

8. Parking and Unloading Designated short-term unloading zones
Vehicles must be moved to designated long-term parking areas after one hour
Any vehicle left unattended in the unloading zone after the designated one-hour period will be towed
Short and long-term parking maps will be available in July at housing.uga.edu

Suite-style bathrooms: cleaned weekly
East Campus Village: bathroom cleaning service available for a limited number of contract holders for a fee
University Village: no cleaning service
Work requests for repairs or maintenance: Submit online at housing.uga.edu
Room cleaning and trash/recycling are residents' responsibility

Access to halls is with a UGA ID card swipe and resident-chosen PIN
24-hour desks: every community
On-call staff
Security staff present 9 p.m-6 a.m.
