Large Multidisciplinary Network
Supercourse Model Large Multidisciplinary Network Open Source PowerPoint Lecture Library Continuous Quality Improvement The supercourse model is simple. We first built a broad, global international network on the web. From the network we extracted the best of the best PowerPowerpoint lectures and put them onto the web. WE then build a distribution network to share the lectures. On top of this model we overlade state of the art quality control system. Distribution System to Educators

Supercourse Connect Everyone in Global Health Teacher Resource
Global Training Library of Lectures Mirroring The Supercourse is very different than any other form of learning. It is Internet Learning, and consists of 11 different components each one of which have rarely been used. All 6 components have never been used together, until now. This combination serves as a very powerful tool, for the manufacture, distribution and utilization of lectures. 21

How can we improve science education worldwide?
Question: How can we improve science education worldwide? Answer: The concept of the Supercourse is simple To improve the teaching of science by sharing the best lectures of you, I, and the world’s scientist. The concept is that of the science of translation from research to the classroom.. Get better lectures 26
27
But how do I get better lectures?
Why don’t scientists share our most exciting PowerPoint lectures for free? 27

56,000 Faculty 9500 Universities 174 Countries
Global Health Network 56,000 Faculty 9500 Universities 174 Countries Sharing of scientific lectures is dependent upon building a global network of scientists. With the Supercourse we have networked over 44,000 academic faculty members from 174 countries. It is one of the largest scientific networks ever established. 28

These Indian Lectures are used by many in and out of India. Mita Lovalekar, MBBS, MPH is the coordinator of the Indian Supercourse Network.

Global Training in Public Health
Trained PH students = 5000 Supercourse lectures trained last year = 1,000,000 We believe that a single lecture of constructed correctly, translated and distribute world wide to teachers could teach over a million students. 37

3600 Lectures on Global Health and Prevention
WHO Sent to all Medical, SPH, and Nursing Schools Access to 100,000-1,000,000 One means by which we have distributed across the digital divide has been to burn DVDs. These DVDs are not given as gifts, instead they are “gifts that are meant to be given”. We require people to make at least 5 copies of the DVDs and give these to students and libraries. This has proven to be exceedingly success for distribution.

Abu-Bakr Mohammaed Ibn-Zakaria Al-Razi (Razes) AD Medicine “the art concerned in preserving healthy bodies, in combating disease, and restoring health to the sick” Some of the earliest roots of global health and prevention are from OIC countries. This is from one of the most famous Persian physicians, who puts preserving healthly bodies first, as we of the OIC team do also. 42

in the Supercourse team from 48 countries
1338 OIC members in the Supercourse team from 48 countries We already have many collaborators in OIC countries We plan to expand this network to reach as many people (especially in academia and MOH) who are interested in prevention. This global health network in OIC countries will be important for prevention, of disease, and mitigation of disasters. 43

Scientific Supercourse
Library of Alexandria Scientific Supercourse Recently Drs. LaPorte, Cerf, Serageldin, Omenn and Linkov published in Science an article arguing that the Supercourse Model should apply to all of science. We are in the process of building a Library of Alexandria Supercourse. We will build a network in all fields of sciences, establish a system of lecture web-based quality control, established mirrored servers and disseminate lectures world wide. Dr. Serageldin has a Youtube video describing the Library of Alexandria Scientific Supercourse.
