Quickly scan the case facts Set deadlines (i.e. finish quantitative analysis by 9:15 am) Time Allocation Is Important Who you are & who you are presenting to What the problems and core issues are What is required from you Determine Key Points Once finished reading the case, put together a shell of your slide deck Know at which points you are transitioning slides to another teammate Practice presentation if there is time Prepare for Presentation Resolution Content Do’s / Don’ts Presentation Question Period

3 When developing content…

4 Include Quantitative Analysis…

5 To make an effective recommendation…

6 When designing slides…

7 Coordinate with your team…

8 Don’ts for presenting…
Avoid saying “um” and “uh”; take a pause when needed Know your audience  if you are a consultant, don’t say “our” company, say “your” company Watch the time – don’t go over and under, speak for longer at the end if needed Speaking Don’t look back at the slides when your teammates are speaking; look at the audience Watch your hands and avoid distracting movements Body Language Resolution Content Do’s / Don’ts Presentation Question Period
