Benefits of High Test Scores
Scores of 500 on the SAT critical reading or 22 on the ACT will waive the EPT (English Placement Test) required by the CSU system. Scores of 550 on the SAT math or 23 on the ACT will waive the ELM (Entry Level Math) required by the CSU system

SAT or ACT scores must be designated to go to specific college campuses, this is the student’s responsibility, the high school cannot do this for you. Send SAT scores through College Board and ACT scores through ACT official website. Students may select CSU Mentor as an SAT score recipient (3594). CSU Mentor will store your scores for ALL CSU campuses. Students can send their SAT score to one UC campus and all 10 campuses will have access to it. ACT scores have to go out to specific campuses.
