She has the right to advise the Prime Minister and takes this role very seriously. She can award honours to her subjects such as medals and knighthoods. She is the Head of State for Britain and the Commonwealth, meaning she is the role model for millions of people. She represents Britain around the world. The Royal family are major tourist attractions for foreign visitors, bringing millions of pounds into the British economy. She entertains foreign leaders and this helps to make Britain popular.

The Queen is Britain’s longest serving monarch at 63 years. The Queen is a qualified vehicle mechanic from her army service during the war. All swans, dolphins and whales in British waters belong to the Queen. The Queen is an expert on horse racing and still rides today. The Queen has many dogs; corgis, dorgis and Labradors. The Queen has three homes –Buckingham Palace, Balmoral and Sandringham. The Queen is the Patron of over 600 charities. The Queen is a talented mimic and can do many voices.
